Welcome to the Nonfiction Book Awards!
Please note these important details:
- Upon completion of payment, you will be taken to the book award application form. This must be filled out in order to proceed with reviewing your book submission.
- The book review process typically takes 12 weeks or less to complete. You will be notified of award status within this time frame.
- We use Book Funnel to securely share book submissions with our reviewers. If you prefer NOT to share digital copies of your book, see the option below to choose physical copies. We will drop-ship them from Amazon or another provider of your choice.
- Three volunteer book reviewers will evaluate and rate a variety of elements related to your book. Those scores are tallied and then averaged to determine award eligibility.
- Not all books receive an award, though far more do than don’t.
What Happens When You Receive an Award
- If you receive an award, your book will be featured:
- On the Nonfiction Authors Association website with other Book Award Winners
- In our monthly newsletter
- On our social media accounts
- Featured on our sister site, NonfictionBookClub.com.
- You will be provided with:
- A frame-worthy, gold foil certificate (mailed to US participants)
- A digital image you can share on your website and social media
- A digital award seal.

Additional Categories If you would like your book to be considered for award honors in additional categories, you can add up to two additional categories. Additional Fee: $150/category
